A Journey from MySpace to Marriage
Let me tell you a beautiful love story — one that started all the way back in 2010.
It began with a simple friend request on MySpace. Tody came across Tete’s profile and was instantly drawn in. He clicked “Add Friend,” and she accepted. From there, their journey began — messages turned into conversations, and conversations turned into a friendship so deep they became each other’s best friend. They shared everything — secrets, struggles, and stories about their lives.
At the time, Tete was living in Sacramento, California, and Tody was in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They hadn’t even met in person, yet their bond was unshakable. For two whole years, they dated long-distance without ever seeing each other face to face. Their calls were rare but meaningful, sneaking in precious moments over a shared home phone. And messaging wasn’t easy either — finding a computer and internet access back then was a challenge. But still, they stayed connected.
Then, one day, things changed. Tete traveled to Des Moines, Iowa, to visit her sister. And Tody? He drove four hours from South Dakota just to see her. That was the moment — the very first time they stood side by side, smiled at each other, and finally shared a hug in person.
After that, their story unfolded beautifully. Tete moved to Sioux Falls, and together, they began building a life filled with love and purpose. They’ve been blessed with five amazing children — a girl named Naima, then a boy named Emmanuel, then a girl named Melody, then a boy named Zion, and finally another boy named Divine. A full, joyful house that’s always buzzing with laughter and love.
Earlier this year, Tody and Tete tied the knot at the court. But now, they’re inviting all of us to celebrate the love that’s grown over the years.
On April 25th, 2026, they’ll stand before God, family, and friends
to say “I do” all over again — this time, in a grand celebration of their forever.
Join us as we witness the next beautiful chapter of a love story that began with a click… and became a lifetime.
